Ryan Lewis, CPA, CA
Partner
Ryan believes great accounting starts with understanding his clients. As a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 15 years of experience, he’s known for his practical insight, approachable style, and genuine commitment to helping people and businesses succeed.
Since earning his designation in 2015, Ryan has worked with clients across a variety of industries, specializing in compilations, corporate and personal tax, and strategic tax planning. He has extensive experience with holding companies, reorganizations, and estate planning, as well as a full range of corporate and personal tax filings. Ryan takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping business owners make informed, confident financial decisions that support their goals.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, and diving into research on emerging trends in AI and Bitcoin.
Mike Lewis, CPA, CMA
Consultant
Mike earned his Certified Management Accountant designation in 1985 and brings over three decades of senior management experience to the team. During his long career in the retail industry, Mike held several executive roles at Giant Tiger, one of Canada’s leading discount retailers, and contributed as a member of the company’s board of directors for more than a decade before fully retiring in June 2025.
While not involved in the firm’s day-to-day operations, Mike plays an important advisory role, leveraging his extensive leadership experience and business insight to help guide the firm’s strategic direction, growth opportunities, and commitment to exceptional client service.
Outside the office, Mike enjoys mentoring his children, spending time with his grandchildren, and playing tennis and pickleball.
Herman Lo, CPA, CMA
Director, Business Development
Herman is a graduate of the Sprott School of Business, where he completed his Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting. He began his career at a boutique bookkeeping and accounting firm in the Ottawa region, gaining experience in financial reporting and client service.
After earning his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2014, Herman took a four-month hiatus to travel throughout Southeast Asia. Upon returning to Canada, he worked as a controller for a retail and e-commerce company before transitioning into public accounting.
Herman later pursued his passion for public accounting by founding his own practice, where he continues to provide tailored financial and advisory services to his clients. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, hiking, snowboarding, and paddleboarding.
